With gunmen running amok from all angles, this young family's decision to play dead instead of running for their lives was the only reason they were able to survive the Kenyan mall massacre.

A new video has emerged that shows they survived.
In the video, as terrorists stormed the mall, the mother of the kids grabbed her kids and made them lie completely still beside her.
She had her arm around her youngest child, her elder daughter lying motionless next to them.Fortunately, having been alerted to their location, a plain-clothed officer is sent to come save them.
But out of fear and probably because she didn't know who to trust, the mother refused to follow the
